Description of 1988 Chevrolet Corvette 35th Anniversary

1988 ARCTIC WHITE CORVETTE 35TH ANNIVERSARY COUPE
Beautiful, low miles, award-winning 35th!
Arctic White w/White interior, L98 350/245hp, 4+3 manual transmission.
When Corvette reached the ripe old age of 45, Chevrolet felt that a celebration was in order! It had been 10 years since a proper Anniversary Edition Corvette had been produced, and the powers that be decided a very special car needed to be brought out to commemorate this event. And special it was! The exterior was Arctic White with a Black Halo and smoked ‘glass removable roof panel, White wheels, and special 35th Anniversary emblems on the outside. The theme carried over to the interior with White leather seats, door panels, and console. Even the steering wheel was White! The dash and carpet were Black. All of the Anniversary Ed. ’88’s were loaded with just about every available option and being that they with Special Editions, they were also limited to only 2050 units built. The price when new was $4,795 over the base price of the Coupe.
This outstanding 35th came out of a collection of only the finest cars. It was owned by a local client of ours who decided that an ’88 in this kind of condition deserved to be shown to those that would appreciate it! So it was taken through the N.C.R.S. judging process. But the owner wouldn’t just settle for a Top Flight. He wanted to go all the way with this one! So, after receiving the prerequisite T.F.’s, he went for the Performance Verification. Finally going for the gold in achieving the top prize of the McLellan Mark of Excellence Award! This is the equivalent of the Zora Arkus-Duntov Mark of Excellence Award, but for later model Corvettes. This is a beautiful, low miles (9k) example that has been very nicely cared for since new. Includes Owner’s Kit, Window Sticker, awards, and judging sheets.
