- 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
- Convertible
- Muncie 4-speed
- Highly desirable and extremely rare higher output engine option (L46 - 350/350)
- Numbers matching car
- Super rare! Only ~17,000 Corvettes manufactured in all of 1970, with less than 4,500 with the L46 option
- 11:1 compression
- Overall, great car...drives beautifully
- Manual steering and brakes
- Hooker Header sidepipes...sounds AWESOME!
- Original paint codes and trim codes still on door!
- I 'believe' the original tank sticker is still on the fuel tank, but I haven't lowered the fuel tank to confirm
This car is FAST and BEAUTIFUL! It was a very rare combination when new (L46 engine + 4-speed + convertible) that VERY FEW have survived, let alone in this condition! The C3 chrome bumpers (1968 - 1972) are the next HOT collector car, appreciating in value. Of these 4 years, the 1969 and 1970 models are considered the most desirable. Why 1969 & 1970? the 1968 car had too many one-off parts that were changed starting in 1969. And, starting in 1971, cars started losing compression and horsepower due to new government fuel regulations. I LOVE this car, but due to an injury, I'm unable to drive it as much as I'd like.
