Up for auction NO RESERVE is my 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. Car has been in the family for decades and was restored a few years ago by a well-respected speed shop called Rolling Chassis Co. in Constantia, NY. Basically this is a brand new 1967 Corvette. I believe the only thing that was actually rebuilt instead of replaced and updated were the sill plates and brightwork simply because aftermarket or reproduction steel just isn't the same quality as restoring the original. Everything else is BRAND NEW. 327 crate motor with MSD ignition, upgraded cooling system/all new aluminum and HD water pump, Factory 4spd, again all new. Every single square inch of the interior is new and leather. Suspension, all frame components, all powdercoated and done RIGHT. The undercarriage of this car is just as immaculate as its interior/exterior. Base/Clear House of Kolor paint replicating a C6 ZR1 Orange color, originally a black interior car but everything has been replaced and updated. Basically I wanted a '67 Corvette but without the problems of points ignition, bias ply tires, tired suspension, etc - and they hit it out of the ballpark with this build. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car across the country. Only selling to make room for the C8 that is replacing it; very large car collection and not enough space. Only flaws with this car is it has no A/C (didn't have factory A/C so I didn't want to change that) and a very small almost non-noticeable bubble in the paint on the hood. There might be a couple rock chips behind the rear wheels that I couldn't see when I had it detailed but I didn't notice them enough to point them out. Car has 3942 miles on it since the restoration and is kept in a climate controlled warehouse and has never seen moisture. Last year the car was professionally detailed and a 5 year Ceramic paint protection coating was installed to ensure she shines for years to come with little maintenance. NO EXPENSE SPARED ON THIS '67 WHATSOEVER - THIS CAR WAS BUILT TO LAST GENERATIONS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not message me asking if it is numbers matching - it is not, the original motor is long gone and has been replaced with much better instead of being rebuilt. I do not have a build sheet or any old paperwork with the car that I know of. Is it under the backseat or trunk or wherever they put build sheets in '67? It very well could be, but I have never looked and don't care to know as this car was built to spec and that's all that mattered to me. NCRS might like old Corvettes that drive like a Model T - I however, do not, and that serves no purpose to me owning a car that can't be driven comfortably and FAST. Car is located in Rome, NY.
