Description of 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

Here is a nice 1970 Chevelle SS clone or tribute. It has an era correct 396 big block with a turbo 400 Trans and to handle all of its power is a 10 bolt posi rear end out back. The motor was just rebuilt by the previous owner which runs and sounds great. Trans was rebuilt at the same time as well as the rear end. It has a new front end installed with power disc brakes. The interior has been redone at some point also. Front and rear seats where recovered. Door panels and rear panels where replaced. It has a set of brand new torque thrust wheels with brand new BF Goodrich tired with less than 100 miles. This car has been put together to enjoy until we had the money to paint it. It NEEDS paint to be finished BUT the car is NOT a rust bucket. It has some rust spots on the doors but nothing major. Fenders were replaced with gm nos fenders and hood was replaced with a nos gm cowl hood that could be functional with some extra work. The floors are not bad and by no means need to be replaced and well as the trunk. They need some touch up but no need to be replaced. The frame is also in good shape with no rot. The car drives good and has plenty of power. Everything inside and outside electrical works the way it should. The wipers. headlights. heat. radio. interior light. brake lights. blinkers. all work. Gas gauge works the way it should. The horn is the only thing not working. probably because the didn't hook it up correctly when they put the grant wheel on. I would leave the car the way it is and enjoy it for the summer then paint it next winter. Also you will double the value by finishing it.
