Description of 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Restomod |
Want to turn your driveway into the SEMA show? This sleek and slammed 1954 Chevrolet 210 restomod sedan was specifically built for the 2016 SEMA show. And since it still has the full adjustable air ride suspension, awesome custom interior, upgraded V8, overdrive transmission, and all-around cool attitude, you know this still loves to draw a crowd wherever it goes. This is a mean-looking machine where the trim was expertly deleted so that the black could roll uninterrupted over the curves. It's so glossy over the shapely sheetmetal that this is like a dark funhouse mirror. And those crystal-clear blue-dot headlights look like piercing eyes (especially when lit up.) The car was part of the E3 spark plugs display, and so they utilized their signature neon green for the wheel spinners and that awesome roof with a ton of metallic added in. They chopped four inches out of the roof and the adjustable air ride suspension gets down low to give this one the feeling that it got flattened out by its own speed. As you look closer, even more great details begin to emerge. We particularly like the matte finish on the bumpers. Someone figured out the these couldn't be any glossier than the super-slick paint, and so they go the opposite way these chrome kings usually do, and instead, now draw the eye with their flat finish. Building a custom car like this out of a sedan was a wise move. There's a longer curve to the rear fender that helps to amplify the stretched look of this chopped custom. And when the panels fit together so well like they do here, people may actually be surprised that the rear doors even exist! Pop the remote door openers to reveal the full custom interior. The same color theme continues inside with a clean and dark presentation with plenty of bright green accenting. There's even glowing green interior lighting. This is built to be a true driver with a B&M floor shifter, sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and a full set of upgraded gauges. The lower dash has a cleanly installed AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input. Even closer to you are the full air ride controls that allow you to individually adjust the air ride height at each wheel. As custom as this car is, don't forget, it's a classic Chevy sedan...so it's easy to share this awesome build with family and friends. Under the hood is a V8 that's ready to show off. This has nice details, like the black painted block, plenty of polished components, and a smooth firewall that reminds you what this one did at SEMA. More than just look good, this is a strong 350 cubic-inch crate V8. It has been upgraded with a dual snorkel cool air intake, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and wrapped shorty headers feeding a rather straight set of dual exhaust pipes. And everything from the electric choke to the BeCool aluminum radiator is there to keep this strong motor part of a practical package. You even have the ease of power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive. And with the upgraded front suspension and triangulated four-link rear, this lowrider can also be a true fun cruiser. The sale comes complete with build receipts and a ton of restoration photos. This is the one that will make you famous and win awards. So you know you can't let it slip away. Call today!!! |
