We have up for sale, a 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible (1954 front clip & taillights) This is a recent frame off resto, the frame & under body were sandblasted to bare metal, primed & painted chassis black, some of the floor braces will need to be replaced. The chassis has been completely rebuilt, new king pins, tie rods, idler arm rebuilt, inner/outer pins, coil, shocks,rear leaf springs, bushings, etc. The entire braking system has been rebuilt/replaced as well with stainless steel brake lines, new drums, wheel cylinders, shoes, brake hardware kits both front & rear, & a corvette dual master cylinder with brake booster has been used, & moved to the firewall. The 305 small block is a G.M. crate motor, with approx. 20,000 miles on it. The 700r4 transmission was rebuilt before being dropped into the chassis. The rear end is an open drive unit, from a 1955 chev. Exhaust flows through an aluminized dual exhaust system. new wide whitewall radial tiresThe paint is about a year old, (a cost of $14,000) it is a two tone blue/ivory paint scheme. The vinyl interior is an all new two tone as well.
