Description of 1989 Chevrolet Suburban R1500 |
For sale: California, rust free 1989 Chevy Suburban R1500 Silverado. Southern California car it's whole life until I brought it with me to Tennessee when I moved from LA two years ago. I purchased it in 2015 from a private seller in the LA area. Body is rust free; undercarriage is in a great state for age of car. Interior cloth seats and carpets are very very clean and above average for this age of Suburban. These trucks were used for kids and work and are usually beat up pretty good. Original floor mats and third row intact. Paint is in great shape, but I don't believe it to be original. Engine runs great, always fires up and idles perfectly - zero issues with around town or freeway driving. Transmission rebuilt in 2016 and only has 10k miles on it. I have spent over 6k in maintenance and repairs in the last five years. (all receipts included in sale) Odometer shows 36,317; I assume it has turned over twice, but maybe not. I had planned on keeping this Suburban for a lot longer, but I'm clearing space in stable for a potential Bronco purchase. eBay isn't very generous on photos so feel free to ask for close ups etc. if you want. I will try to embed more pics in description over the weekend. Full disclosure on some of the flaws. A/C not blowing cold currently.
