Description of 1966 Chevrolet Impala

I am offering at "NO RESERVE". A 1966 Impala. 2 door. Matching #'s 327 engine. 2 speed power glide transmission. factory AC. Power steering. Power Drum Brakes. very solid project car. This car was purchased from the original owner with intensions of doing a full restoration. unfortunately time and money got in the way. This is a running. driving project. the car starts right up and goes down the road nice. the tranny shifts nice as well. I went through the brakes replacing all the wheel cylinders. brake shoes. and brake lines. The odometer reads 74. 00 which is believed to be original. the car was said to be sitting for over 30 years. The car is very solid but it will need a complete restoration. it is 99% complete missing only a few pieces of exterior trim. The doors are solid aside from a dent in the passenger door. the rockers and door jams are solid. one rocker will need a piece at the rear edge. the floors will need some patch work. but overall not that bad. the quarters are very solid needing some patch work along the bottoms. the fenders are solid needing lower patch panels. The trunk is also very solid needing some patch work up near the wheel wells. The Frame along the driver side rocker has rot where Rodents had a nest and it rotted about 3 foot of the frame rail. I welded a piece of steel in for reinforcement . The doors open and close perfect. they do not sag. The car has some dings and scratches here and there and will require some body work as you can see from the pics. The interior is complete. but it will need recovering. The glass is all in excellent shape. all the windows roll up and down nicely. all the chrome is in excellent condition for a 50 year old car. I have described the vehicle the best I can. nbsp;I encourage bidders to come and see the car before you buy. as with any 50 year old car you can expect to find things in addition to pictures. if you have any questions shoot me an email and I will get right back to you. Please only bid if you are ready to buy. The vehicle is sold "AS IS" needing total restoration. I will require a $200 deposit upon auction end. remaining balance within 5 days of auction end. car will be released when funds are clear. nbsp;buyer is responsible for shipping and related costs for shipping. I will be happy to assist in loading for transport. This is a perfect opportunity to own an Original Classic that will make an awesome car for someone. Thank You
