Description of 1942 Chevrolet Other

I am selling my 1942 Chevrolet Military Firetruck. It is very solid with no Rust issues or Body Filler anywhere. It has been stored inside for most of its life. The Truck still has the original 216. 5 cid Engine which runs like new. It has Lights and a Siren on the Roof. The Siren has a little mind of its own and only works sometimes. I think the Motor is about to give up. The Odometer works properly. reads 11385 Miles and it could be the original Mileage of the Truck. All Instruments work fine besides the Fuel Gauge. It does not read correctly. It always starts right away even after sitting for a Month or longer. The 4-Speed Transmission shifts very well. it runs and drives well. Brakes and Tires a fine too. all Glass is in good shape. It can be driven right away and you could drive it anywhere! The Truck has two Pumps. The one in the front is not hooked up and the larger rear Pump I never operated. I think it may not be operatabe. I purchased the Truck from a Military Vehicle Collector some years ago. who took good care of it. It took me 6 Hours to drive it home and without any issues. and I would not hesitate to take it for another long road trip. Please contact me. if you have more questions concerning the Truck.
