Description of 1967 Chevrolet Corvette

#s match motor, trans and colors. Very desirable options including high performance L-79 motor and side pipes to hear it with. Very neatly installed Vintage a/c blows cold. Body off frame restoration in 2007.
EXTERIOR: It's a great looking car. This is one of a few cars that the coupe is more desirable than the roadster. It's because of it's good looks. Try finding a coupe, there are a lot less of them around. Overall the body shows really well. Things fit very nicely, doors shut real nice, headlight buckets fit nice and square. The headlight motors have been rebuilt, they open and close easily. It does have a few stress cracks on the front clip. It was repainted it's original Sunfire yellow. It has a glossy finish. The bumpers sit nice and level, they've been rechromed. The mirrors and tail lights are new. Glass is original. Those side pipes are one of the factors that pushed me over the edge to buy the car. I love the way they look and the way they sound. Very desirable feature. The 15 inch rally wheels have new trim, correct 1967 centers. The red line tires are upgraded BF Goodrich radials for a better ride. Door jambs are respectable, weather strips look good.
INTERIOR: It is exceptionally nice inside the car. I'm sitting in it right now looking at a pristine dash area. The padded humps are mint, I believe the gauges have all been restored. It has the 6,000 redline which is correct for the 350 hp, clock is upgraded with quartz movement. All of the knobs and original Am-Fm radio sparkle. The speaker was upgraded. The glove box door looks new, inside the glove box is new, the light works, it has the owner's manual. The console surround has all been replaced, it has the correct chrome shifter and ball. The seats are in excellent condition. Door panels are excellent, the chrome handles sparkle. The headliner, visors and trim are excellent. Carpet front to back has been replaced. Everywhere I look around inside the car is at least a nine out of ten, exceptional. The interior lights work.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: #s matching. The pad on front has matching vin and codes. It does not look tampered with, broach marks are still evident. The casting codes on the back are correct too. Everything looks nicely restore to original condition. It has the original exhaust manifolds and original Winters aluminum intake manifold. Correct Corvette finned valve covers, open element chrome air cleaner, ignition shielding upper and lower. The power brake booster and master is recent. The alternator and wiring looks clean. It has GM radiator hose and clamps. The clutch fan, shroud radiator, all looks proper. It has the Harrison expansion tank. They did add an electric fan in front because of the added air conditioning. The air conditioning was installed very neatly. It looks proper and tidy to me.
UNDERSIDE: Very nicely restored underneath. It looks like the front end was a part. I see all new hardware on the control arms, sway bar, shocks and ball joints. In back the suspension was rebuilt and upgraded with a fiberglass spring and Bilstein shocks. All the bushings, hardware and sway bar looks new. Looking up at the motor it still looks new: clean Chevy orange, starter looks recent. The Muncie 4-speed is correct for the car, dated 67. Shift linkage, bell housing, trans all look clean. The rear end is a 3.08 h.d. posi and looks very fresh. It has four wheel disc brakes, they look like they've been redone recently. Emergency brake cables are hooked up. It also has independent suspension front and back. Frame looks solid, fiberglass floors don't look damaged. Spare tire carrier is missing. I think it's exceptionally clean underneath.
This is a great car to get out on some back roads and shift through the gears while listening to those pipes. It really handles and functions great. I would drive it anywhere. Mid year vettes continue to go up in value, 67 coupes are on top of the desirability list. This is an investment you can enjoy!
