Description of 1969 Chevrolet C-10 |
1969 Chevy C20 4x4 over Duramax 2500 Chassis ** CHECK OUT THE WALK-AROUND VIDEO BELOW! ** ALSO CHECK OUT THE 100% FEEDBACK..... This is a 1969 Chevy C20 truck that was put over a 2002 Chevy 2500 4x4 Duramax chassis. It’s not a Duramax swap, its an actual body swap onto a Duramax chassis so it has all the work/tow capacity of an actual 2500 Duramax truck. The ’69 truck was restored about 10 years ago so while being very nice, it is not perfect. It is a driver and has some paint flaws as seen in pictures. No dents, just some weathered pin-striping, a few scratches, and scuffs. It is a very solid truck with very, very little rust as it was an eastern Oregon desert truck it’s whole life. When I bought the 2002 4x4 Duramax as a donor it had 168,000 miles on it. After I pulled the body off of it, I went ahead and did new head-gaskets and bolts, Bosch fuel injectors, fuel lines, CP3 and FPR and water pump. I just wanted it to be right and reliable before installing the new ’69 body over it. It has so many new parts I can’t list them all but they include new tires, full 4” exhaust system, hydro-boost, glow plugs, cab mounts, Dakota Digital analog gauges, 3-point seat belts, etc. This truck runs awesome and rides great. I would not be afraid to drive this truck across the country and get 22-23mpg doing it. It has been done for almost 2 years and has only gotten about 700 miles on it. It just sits in a heated shop with a battery tender on it most of the time. It has the stock Duramax fuel tank so you are not limited on range by an aftermarket tank. The transmission shifts great and has new Dexron fluid with a new internal and external filter installed.I have built and sold many vehicles on eBay over the years. Check the 100% feedback. I am located about 2 blocks from the Redmond, Oregon airport (RDM). Fly in and drive it home like many have done! A $500 deposit is due within 24 hrs and the remaining balance within 7 days. I am more than willing to accommodatea shipper in getting it loaded up and shipped also. You tell me what you need. I have had the best luck with wire transfer to my bank, but we can discuss that. Have you looked at the price of '67-72 Chevy trucks and the price of Duramax trucks lately because of low inventories? Have the best of both worlds with this one at a very low reserve price!
