Question: Would this make it to Philadelphia,Pa
Answer:I think it would if you took your time. It does not overheat and the temperature guage does not work. We drive it to Beckley WV sometimes which is 35 miles away on I64 going up Sandstone Mountain which is about 7 miles to the top. There is no overheating topping out. The temp guage will show hot when you can put your hand on the radiator. It uses oil so you would need to check it frequently as we only drive it local. The spark plugs foul out sometimes and need replaced. You might get 10 to 15 miles per gallon. We have not checked it in years. That itself maybe a deciding factor on getting a rollback or trailor. To better answer your question. I think you could make it if you pamper the truck, but it may be in your best interest to rent a low boy trailor. We have 42 new extra spark plugs for it. If you want the topper, its old and extra weight that has not been put on the truck for years. That would be an extra burden for the motor,so figure that in. Hope this helps.

Question:
Would you take money off if i won the bid but let you keep topper?
Answer:
Sorry, no money off if I keep the topper.
Question:
Do you think it would make it to Chicago?
Answer:
You could probably make it to Chicago, if you kept your speed under 60 mph all the way, added oil frequently, stopped every 100 miles and just gave it a rest and cool down. Treat it like grandpa running a marathon. Most of all, you need to have funds ready for tow, just in case as anything could happen. If you don't have those funds, don't risk it.
