With under 300 miles since upgrade of absolute perfection

I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle.

This is one of those items:

This beautiful convertible Corvette is cleaner, better, and faster than when it left the factory. The owner is one of our dearest friends who is a member of the local Corvette club and also is an engineer and master mechanic. He had this Corvette forever and he always won all the car shows with the car.

A few years back he decided to take it to the next level with a new and upgraded engine, a brand new transmission, a show quality paintjob, brand new wheels and tires, and brand new almost everything. The engine and transmission (under the hood) was well over $26,967.

We have the Dyno print out showing that the Corvette now has well over 421HP at the rear wheels.

I am not mechanically inclined at all, but I’m going to post some of the work that I see on the receipts. All the work was done by a professional engineering shop which are experts in these kinds of vehicles.

The Corvette has won many more awards since then, and it has about 280 miles since all the upgrades.

The car has never been raced as it was our friend’s baby. Unfortunately, due to my friend’s age he can no longer operate a standard shift vehicle so he bought a new Corvette with an automatic transmission.

The Corvette paint job is very classy with very subtle Smokey flames that are not visible until you look at it closely.

There is also custom paint under the hood that is only visible if the hood is open.

So it is a wonderful opportunity for someone to take home this beautiful prized Corvette.

The car comes with a clear Texas title, and for every part on the car, there is a receipt to go with it. The receipts alone total over $44,000.

The Corvette has a lot of upgrades, these are some of the ones that my friend remembered: upgrades done to the engine and transmission:

1. High performance aluminum radiator.

2. Corvette bare 350 engine block. Four bolt main board out to 383 cu inches.

3. Installed Eagle rotating crankshaft with a stroke of 3.750. JE/SRP pistons, seal power plasma, Moly rings and performance pods and main bearings.

4. Race SFI Harmonic Balancer damper – 7.5”

5. Comp Cam Extreme energy 290 – 23 camshaft.

6. Comp lifters, comp push rods, Cloyes timing roller chain.

7. MEL MI55 performance oil pump and attaching parts.

8. LT 4 aluminum heads complete, completely rebuilt for performance.

9. LT-4 intake manifold and 58 mm throttle body.

10.MSD distributor.

11.Hooker headers long tube and complete exhaust system performance.

12.New ZF 6SP manual transmission.

13.Ram performance clutch set.

14.New High Performance fuel pump assembly.

15.New water pumper and complete hose set.

16.Engine was balanced.

17.Corvette was Dyno tuned - 421 horse power at the rear wheels.

NOTE: Corvette has been adult owned

and has never been raced, but has won many car show trophies.

All the inspections must be done before the auction closes.
