Turismo is proud to present this beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Convertible. The fiber-glass reinforced plastic body is finished in Riverside Red, which we believe to be a repaint at some point during the vehicles prior restoration. The interior is trimmed with white vinyl and carpeting and features chrome accents on the dash, center console, and door panels. Lap belts are equipped for both driver and passenger along with what we believe to be the original AM/FM Delco radio. Also included with the vehicle is a Riverside Red detachable hard top. This vehicle runs and drives great, with the 4-speed Muncie manual transmission keeping you engaged as you row through the gears. The five-digit odometer shows 1,401k miles, with total mileage unknown as the gauges were replaced when the restoration took place. Upon receiving the vehicle, we had some addition reconditioning work completed by Corvette City right here in Denver. We replaced the aging white vinyl seat covers to freshen up the interior as well as addressing some minor mechanical issues under the hood. The Chevrolet L75 carbureted 327ci V8/300hp sounds great with the addition of the side-pipe exhaust. In order to improve the ride quality, 15 America Racing Wheels were fitted to the vehicle. The exterior shows some signs of its age, but overall the paint is in good shape with no areas of major fading. The interior is in great shape with new white vinyl seat covers fitted.
