Description of 1985 Chevrolet Caprice CLASSIC

1985 Chevrolet Caprice Classic. Condition is "Used". 4 Dr, 8 Cyl Automatic. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Locks, 14 inch Aluminum centerline rims on front, 14 inch Black aluminum crager type rims on rear. Solid Body. Light surface rust except for on trunk lid. Rust on trunk lid & will have to be replaced unless you do metal work on the lid. Crack on windshield on passenger side front glass. 4- caprice hubcaps, radiator, fan, fan cover, air cleaner, belts & smog pump in trunk of vehicle. As you can see, I started washing the car. It needs a good wash outside & vacumning inside. Burgandy Velour interior. Good seats, no rips or tears.
Car ran and drove well. I bought the caprice to take out the motor and tranny to put into the Blue 1972 Chevy El Camino that is parked next to it with no motor or tranny. I got distracted over time with other projects & never finished removing the motor and tranny & have now decieded to sell both of them . This listing is for the white caprice and the Camino is going to be listed afterwards.I have a clean New York State title in my name. I have owned the car since 2016.
Delta has passed & weather got better so i went out & cleaned car a little more & looked under the car & took a few more pics.Rear shocks had been replaced & exhaust had been replaced from catalytic converter back. There are no cracks or rust on the chassis. I pulled back the carpet in the trunk & the trunk floor is solid.
The caprice is sold " As is , " where is ". There are no guaranties or warranties on the car. The car is not running at the moment since I disconnected everything to remove the engine & tranny. Shipping & transport is the responsibility of the winning bidder.I will assist on this end with loading the vehicle onto the trailer.
Neither the vehicle, title or keys will be released until the vehicle has been paid in full and all funds have cleared my bank.There is a 100 dollar non refundable deposit due via chase zelle or paypal at the end of the auction. The balance can be paid by certified check, bank check or cash upon pick up.
I will answer any questions before the auction is over. Do not wait towards the end of the auction to ask questions as i may not have time to look at the vehicle & get back to you. If you are in the NYC tri state area, you are more than welcome to come by & bring your mechanic to look over the car before the auction is over.
