Description of 1948 Chevrolet Other Pickups

1948 Chevrolet Pick-Up half ton Offered here is a really cool 1948. 3100 half ton Pick-Up. All original drive train: 216 6 cylinder engine with three speed manual transmission. that runs and drives very well. As you probably know. these trucks usually have three common problems; steering. stopping and leaking. This truck has none of those three. Stops and steers great and has the following upgrades: new gas tank. fuel lines. fuel filter. fuel pump. steering box. tires. window tracks. door latches. doorhandles. mirrors and a cab rebuild. Floor pans and underside are clean with no rust anywhere. Two a very unusual features: it does not leak fluid and it is equipped with 3:04 gears. This baby will roll out 62MPH no problem. The paint and small amount of bodywork or what I would consider good but not great. Some paint areas are better than others. with one hideous repair job on the left rear fender. (I have no idea why) All metal fenders. weepers are still in place and no plastic or filler or anywhere else. Truck is very very presentable but not cosmetically perfect. All in all it's a very honest truck. with great looks and a great color and is not thirty thousand. Need a reasonable deposit within the 48 Hours balance with in five days. Firstly. all the glass is really good. and it idles great with a properly working manual choke. I the description it says a "cab" rebuild. That should read "carburetor" rebuild. If more detailed pictures are required please let me know and the truck is available to see most any time. This is a great truck to drive. enjoy and tinker with and won't cost you 35 to 40 thousand like similar trucks listed.
