You are bidding on a 1969 Chevrolet Nova purchased new in Oklahoma by a young female. The original owner retained ownership of the car until 8 years ago when it was inherited by her niece at the age of 66. Prior to me taking ownership of it a year an a half ago the car was in the same family and trulypampered. The car has 119,000 miles on the body and the 2 speed automatic transmission and 6 cylinder engine have approximately 4500 miles on them since their rebuild.During the time of ownership the car was meticulously maintained and upon receiving the car 8 years ago the niece's husband did a complete overhaul of the car paint and mechanical's. The only body repair needed on the car was a patch panel on the lower rear passenger side quarter panel.Outside of this one area all the remaining panels are original to the car.The car was originally gold and was taken down to bare metal and painted 2 stage clear coat black during the update.(The red pinstripe is a decal and can be easily removed) The paint and body are super nice and straightand the panel fitment is excellent. I would rate the paint and body a solid 9.The under carriage of the car is just as nice as the top side of the car and the floors, subframe, leaf springs etc look like new with no rust or grime present.. The engine compartment is just as detailed. All the glass and trim and bumbers are all in superb condition. The 6 cylinder engine runs like a charm and fires right up with a few pumps of the gas. The car runs and drives without issue and doesnt have any squeaks or noises going down the road. Everything on the car works as it should all gaugeshorn interior light etc. The car runs and shifts smoothly. The car needs nothing and I would drive it anywhere and recently took it on a 200 mile round trip. The car does not have power steering or brakes however It's still a joy to drive. The interior of the car is just as beautiful. The car retains its original mint dash pad and headliner which are black. When the niece inherited the car she wanted a red interior so all the door panels, armrest, seats carpet and package tray were all updated to red. It has an old stereo in it but no rear speakers but the front speaker. The previousowner purchased a red head liner to install put didnt have the heart to remove the mint original black one. This will be included in the sale. The truck of the car is mint and retains the original style spare with jack. I added the 18 inch american racing wheel which have less than 1000 miles on them. The fit, finish and drivability of this nova is outstanding and the car needs nothing. Its the perfect candidatefor an LS or old school V-8 swap or a great cruiserjust the way it sits. I am happy to answer and questions about the car and happy to do a facetime inspection of the car and send additional pictures and videos to any interested party and I am available if you'd like to inspect the car in person. This is a 51 year old car and its is being sold as-is and no warrantyis implied or included. I encourage you to contact me with any questions prior to bidding. A $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and the balance paid within 10 days via bank wire, bank check or cash.
