Description of 1948 Chevrolet Other

1948 Chevy Fleetmaster "Old '48 Survivor"2 door Coupe. nice. all original. solid (no rattles). complete running car. Engine removed. complete gasket set including main and new motor mounts. Put engine back in and now it has a knock at low idle. Higher idle or RPM and it quits knocking. New clutch. pressure plate flywheel resurfaced. Split manifold with new dual exhaust and mufflers front to back. New fuel pump. waterpump. and carb rebuild all under 50 miles and 6 months ago. It runs good. goes down the road straight. and stops good. Rust free. minimal surface rust that will clean up. Original interior that is not bad for original. interior is not trashed out. Radio. Heater. and Wipers work. Plenty of dealer add-ons. including Bumper Corner Wraps. Fog Lights. Spotlight. windshield washer (frame only. glass jar is missing). backup (reverse) light. Visor. and Banjo Steering Wheel. Speedometer and gas gauge do not work. New gas tank and tires. I am spent out and have other projects. This one has to go. It lived all of it's life in Texas and Oklahoma. I just can't put anymore into it at this time. Thanks for looking.
