Description of 1972 Chevrolet C-10 C-10 |
1972 CHEVY CHEYENNE 402 V8 ORIGINAL SURVIVOR Here is a very rare factory optioned original survivor truck for some lucky guy or gal. “There only original once!” Around a year ago. a man here in Texas inherited this fabulous truck from his grandfather. He was happy to have it. but his life didn’t allow for time to do anything with it. so it sat under a carport. This is a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne with a factory original 402 BIG BLOCK. working Air Conditioning. Power steering. and Power Brakes. All of which were factory options. The truck still sports mostly original paint and even still has grandpa’s CB radio in it. In the glove box you’ll find the original owners manual. and a stack of receipts from maintenance over the years. The truck once started runs and sounds good. But its currently hard starting with the old gas. It will drive onto your transport truck or trailer. but its not ready to drive home. It needs basic servicing from sitting around. The body is very straight and solid. There is a bit of cab corner rust on both sides which is very typical from age. LMC offers new replacements. There is a vintage tool box and really tastefully done headache rack on the truck. The seat needs a recover but still is covered in the original material from 1972. With a few weekends of tinkering around. you will have a very special and rare truck. Remember. there only original once. Call Houston Wills at 210-548-1310 if you have any questions. The truck can be serviced for the road here in San Antonio before you get it if you’d like. I will deliver the truck anywhere in San Antonio for FREE if you’d like. The cost here is pretty low compared to other area’s of the country. Thanks!!!PAYMENT AND STORAGE A $500 deposit is required from the winning bidder. due electronically via PayPal within 24 hours after the auction ends. to hold the vehicle.
