Description of 1946 Chevrolet Other Pickups Gasser/Hot Rod/Streetrod/Kustom

'46 Chev Truck cab and nose. 2X4 frame. Heidts front suspension/manual steering. 4-link 9" w/3. 00 limited slip. 4 wheel disc brakes. Wilwood master. Fuel cell. 510cid Cadillac/turbo 400. Weighs 50 lbs more than a SBC. Edlebrock intake. Choice of 650 or 850 Demon carb. Pocket ported early high compression (9. 5) heads. Small cam. Upgraded rocker shafts. 1 5/8"X34" fenderwell headers. Built according to Cad500 blueprint. Supposed to be over 500HP and over 600lbs torque. and I'm sure it is. Runs excellent. Drives excellent. Rides excellent. Looks mean as Hell! Easy to steer and stops on a dime. New weatherstripping. windows. etc. No rust! Laser Red that I put more metallic into and some flake. Very flashy in the sun. Black Diamond pattern vinyl inside except for seats. 'Dina mat' inside entire cab. Very quiet inside with windows up. V-butt windshield. Needs firewall finished. e-brake installed. grille re-chromed. and a few other small things. Very docile until ya step on it. then hang on! Gets 16-17mpg @ 75mph. It'll smoke the tires into next week! Hooks up good. just need more tire; drag radials/slicks. Uncap it. belch flames and make lots of noise! This truck is NOT for the meek. I have been professionally building Hot Rods and doing restorations for over 40 years and I have a great reputation with many references. I love this truck. but I want to finish my house and get my '26 Dodge roadster back on the road. so I thought I'd see what the truck will bring. I would be happy to keep it and my wife thinks I'm crazy for even considering selling it. along with my friends and customers. I say easy come. easy go. I can build another one.
