1960 Chevrolet 1/2 ton Pickup Truck long bed project red hot rat rod 6 cylinder

Here is a truck I wanted to keep but have found a short bed I would rather work on. CLEAR WYOMING title for this 1960 Chevrolet 1/2 ton long bed with original red factory paint. The motor is a 235 and last owner said it was rebuilt 25 years ago but never rigged up to start. You be the judge. No receipts to prove it. NO carb...it is missing. Exhaust is just hanging not bolted up. Motor is free. Nice rust free floors and no rust in rockers at all. Lower fenders of course have rust. Driver cab corner rust free...pass side has pin hole. Original wood in bed.

Windshield is bad, and its missing pass vent window handle. It has a bumps n bruises and the worst dent is above windshield on the roof. It bent it down but DID NOT AFFECT inner sheet metal inside the cab...just outer skin. Glass was not impacted and w/ a stud gun and slide puller you can get it out. It is 127" wheelbase truck NOT short bed. Pass hood front corner is bent in...see pic. Pass headlight ring is there and I do have the 2 small headlights w/ buckets (just forgot to photo). This part of grill is dented so cannot bolt trim ring on yet. Front bumper got pulled off frame horn on driver side. No rust on inner fenders in engine compartment.

NEW PARTS: hood springs, tailgate chains, glove box, rear view mirror plus bracket, pedal pads, gas pedal, and side view round mirror. Tires are shot but hold air for transport. I would just fix the roof dent, do the brakes, get it running and put in new windshield and DRIVE IT. Dash is cut for radio opening....too bad. Original keys in ignition. Was a 3 on the tree converted to floor shifter.
