Description of 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle

Hello classic car enthusiasts world wide. If you're looking for a clean Muscle Car convertible from the ONLY place to get one ( California or Arizona ) look no further. This is a prime example of a nice Southwestern United States Chevelle . This is a Factory Code 58 car - it left the assembly line as a true V8 Chevelle Malibu Super Sport Convertible. The vehicle has been in dry climate it's entire life .
DRIVETRAIN: The car has a high performance 327 V8 with 202 Camel Back heads. it has a Edelbrock 650 CFM 4 barrel carburetor mounted on an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold. A mild cam gives it the right sound and performance, but nothing too radical. The fenderwells have been powder coated semi gloss black, along with the radiator core support. A heavy duty 4 row aluminum radiator by Engineering Cooling Products insures that everything stays cool. Everything on the engine and engine compartment is detailed. Headers are attached, with 2 inch pipe and Flowmasters Mufflers. The exhaust exists the rear of the car, and have Super Sport Chevelle chrome tips. This car sounds awesome! The car has a rebuilt power steering unit.A Turbo 350 transmission is backe, along with a rebuilt 10 bolt GM rear differential and 3.55 gears.
WHEELS & TIRES: Coker Classic Red Line radial tires are mounted to powder coasted 14" steel wheels, and factory Mag Wheel Covers finish everything off.
EXTERIOR: The car is painted Ember red, and has all new stainless, chrome, Door handles,emblems, rubber, weatherstripping, felt/fuzzy throughout . The inside of the trunk is equally clean, has been sandblasted, had new Zolatone speckle grey paint, rubber mat, new Red Line spare, and storage for the convertible boot.
UNDERCARRIAGE: The vehicle has new fuel tank,shocks, suspension bushings, mounts, and new alignment.
INTERIOR: The interior in this convertible is beautiful! A brand new black bucket seat interior kit by Classic Industries insured that the reproduction is of quality and meets the original GM standards. All new arm rests, inside door handles, window cranks, nylon loop carpet, dash pad, knobs, and switches . The car has a factory in-dash tachometer, and all gauges are in working order.
This is an enjoyable car to drive. It handles nice, goes down the road straight, never gets hot, and can handle Freeway speeds of 75 mph all day long. The radial tires, power steering, and brand new interior assist in the comfort. Cars like this sell in the $50,000 range - which isn't unrealistic considering the restoration costs .
