This is a 1965 Corvair two-door air car with a 140hp engine. I don't know if it was a factory 140 car. The number on the block appears to be correct for an air car in that it does not have the Corsa 140 block. The car has many upgrades including completely rebuilt engine and carbs. The engine has about 20 miles on the rebuild. Fuel system and brakes have been gone through. Interior has been completely refinished with new headliner and seats have been reupholstered. Dual exhaust. Runs and drives very nice. Tires have lots of tread, but I wouldn't trust them. Most of the air conditioning components are present. All the proper dash vents are there and they do work. The air-conditioning lines are in good shape. I understand that there are after-market compressors available that work much better than the factory ones did on these cars. The body is very good for its age. It appears to be mostly a virgin car. It is very straight with one small dent over the left front headlight. Floor pans are very good except for one small spot that was repaired. Trunk floor is good. Factory spare mount for an air car is present. This is a great driver and a good candidate for a total restoration.
