Turismo Auto Group is excited to offer one of 5,352 two-tone Chevrolet Corvettes produced in 1981. The odometer reads 55,545 miles and is believed to be actual miles. The included Carfax report begins in 2004 with service and state inspection records. The car was purchased in CO by the previous owner in 2005 and brought to MO. This Corvette was extremely well maintained during its life in MO. Under the prior owner, the heater hoses, metal 'S' tube, radiator hoses, thermostat and housing were replaced, along with the vacuum actuators that control air flow. Additionally, the water control valve was replaced at that time. The A/C has been converted to R134a and blows cold, with a new control head in installed console. The vehicle was recently tuned up with new plugs, new reproduction plug wires, distributor cap, module, coil, rotor, and terminal blocks to ECM as well as Tach/Bat connections. Much additional work was completed over the last two years, including: new reproduction belts, fuel pump, metal fuel line from carb to pump, rubber feed and return lines, fuel filter, passenger side brake calipers, driver side power window motor, power antenna repair kit, new battery and starter ground cable. The Interior was freshened up with new reproduction leather/vinyl seats, re-dyed door panels, center console plate, console side cover cardboards, and storage compartment frame/doors unit. Lower charcoal paint has been completely resprayed. Factory options can be seen on the build sheet, which is shows in the photo gallery: custom two-tone paint, auto speed control, aluminum wheels, upgraded tires, premium stereo, and power antenna.
