Here's a cute and rare 1960 Chevy Corvair Monza 900 2 door coupe from Helena, Alabama needing some TLC all around depending on what you want, a fun driver or restored gem. Just under 95,000 original documented miles. From 10 feet looks great but up close you can see it's an "Earl Scheib" paint job. Solid body with some floor work done due to leaking windshield gaskets (have been replaced). Runs fair (automatic choke not working, once it's warmed up runs pretty good), has new AC Plugs, wires, under the cap stuff, 2 rebuilt by Wolf Enterprises carbs, a new exhaust system (aluminized from Clark's) tailpipe, muffler and crossover pipe. New brakes, Master Cylinder, lines and hoses, a freshly refurbished like new gas tank and new sending unit. Tires as new. Some gas heater equipment is missing but have a box of things I got with the car. I do have the rocker moldings. Fresh oil and transmission fluid and gaskets. Nice red bucket seat interior (rear seat bottom is decent but out of another '60 however I have purchased a new red cover from Clark's to make it right). Overall not far from a good driver with more potential. Needs a good Corvair mechanic to fix the leaks (O-Rings) and get her up and running right. Please feel free to ask any questions and observe the photos carefully as they are part of the description especially before purchasing as all sales are final, 60 year-old vehicle is being sold AS IS with no guarantees, returns or warranties. Prior inspection is both welcome and recommended. Title is clear Ohio title and in my name. Local pick up which is the responsibility of the buyer, we are located 15 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio with easy access from State Rt. 90. Car will have to be trailered or flat bedded, is not up to long trips. A $500 non-refundable Pay Pal deposit is due at time of purchase with the balance being due within 1 week via cash at pick-up or bank check which will have to clear before car, parts and title can be released. No Trades. I will accept full payment via Pay Pal as long as you pay any fees they charge, I believe it's 3%. The actual selling price will be stated on the title transfer. Thanks much for looking!
