Description of 1988 Chevrolet Other Pickups Silverado 4x4 |
This 1988 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado 4x4 is a cool mix of a clean preservation and excellent upgrades. It makes for an impressive classic that still has everything you want - including a fuel-injected V8 and four-wheel drive. This was the first year for the new style Chevy C/Ks. It's a design that was so sleek and interesting, that you can still see echoes of it in the brand new Silverados. That's why people love them, and a few special one received good care over the years. That's how you get such a complete and clean pickup like this one. But there's more going on here than just preservation. The factory-correct Garnet Red Metallic has been upgraded with a gold lower section that also draws added attention to the upgraded fender flares. The upgraded lights join the grille and chrome bumper for a shining first impression. And there's more polish along the sides with upgrades like the tubular side steps and later-style 16-inch alloys. Plus, the bed liner, Craftsman tool box, and proper trailer hitch are all there to remind you that this classic can still get to work. The golden lower section of the exterior paint was a great addition, because it now coordinates with the golden tan interior. This is an exceptionally well-preserved look, and so you'll love everything from the texture of the cloth seat to the original split-level AM/FM stereo w/equalizer that only came on these Silverados. It's got all the best features, like power windows, power locks, factory air conditioning, tilt steering column, and a sliding rear window. It makes for a stock classic with a level of comfort that leaves you wanting for nothing. One of the big reasons you want a more modern classic pickup is under the hood. After all, modern fuel-injected power on the 5.7-liter V8 is an advantage we all want. Plus, this newer generation of Silverado was the first to offer an independent front suspension on the 4x4 drivetrain. That means you still get the go-anywhere prowess, but when you're just riding in the city, this is much more comfortable than other classic 4x4s. In fact, there's power steering, power brakes, front discs, a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive and cruise control to make this a great pickup for travels near or far. The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and maintenance records. We all are looking for a well-preserved pickup that can turn heads and still get to work. But only one person can grab this deal. Call now! |
