Description of 1979 Chevrolet Corvette

We don't have to mention that this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette has been given big investments over the factory performance setup. After all, that big air scoop with a supercharger underneath instantly commands all your attention. But while you already know this is a street-eating powerful machine, the total investment in this coupe was over $80k, and so it's also worth digging in to see just how well done this full build is.
We'll get to the awesome powerhouse in a moment, but first, it's worth mentioning the quality that surrounds it. The blue paint was an upgrade later in life, and so the deep gloss is ready to show off this Stingray's distinct lines...and there's a ton of them. You have the factory pieces, like the sharply pointed front end and the crisp fender tops. This combines with plenty of extra flare in the fenders and an extra-large full-width rear spoiler. These later years of the C3 had a cleaner design free from ornamentation, but there's still some brightwork in this one. It's used to really gives it some attitude. The hood scoop is a big announcement of this car's power, the same goes for the wicked set of side pipes and the polished alloys with extra meaty rear ones.
The glass T-tops look quite stylish when in place, and it only gets better when you open this car up to the world. The full black interior has a nice performance look that includes new carpeting and the upgraded bucket seats with terrific bolstering and the feeling of supple leather. You have some worthwhile features like power windows, power locks, and provisions for air conditioning (will need servicing before blowing cold again.) But the best pieces are what keep this corvette so driver-oriented. The three-spoke sports steering wheel is on a tilt column. It gives you a clear view to the full upgraded Dakota Digital VHX gauge package, including all the auxiliary readout in the center. And it all has a cool blue glow that coordinates with the exterior.
Finally, it's time for all the details on that monster motor. There was a ton invested giving this a show-worthy polished presentation, because after all, you know everyone's got to ask you to lift the custom hood everywhere you park this Stingray. The awesome package starts with dual Edelbrock 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor that feeds the TBS 6-71 blower. It sits on top of a 355 cubic-inch V8 from Big Al's Toybox. And something of this stature has been fortified and enhanced further with an Eagle cast steel crank, Eagle connecting rods, double roller timing, Comp Cams springs, Manley stainless steel valves, and polished 64cc aluminum heads. Plus, Doug's headers do a great job of adding power while also announcing this Corvette's thunder through those side pipes. And when you have this much power in an American muscle machine, you expect it to be a wild child. But since this is a Corvette, you get great features like the fully independent suspension, power steering, a rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission (w/B&M torque converter), and four-wheel disc brakes. So this is one high horsepower classic that's easy to control.
We have a detailed file showing over $80k invested in the full build. So it's a steal at this price. That's why you know you need to hurry to catch up to this supercharged custom. Call today!!!
