I found this car on the internet quite by chance in the spring of 2007. The odometer reading at that time was 72,492 certified. I had to buy it because it was almost 100% identical to my first new car which I had purchased while I was in the Air Force and stationed in California. I believe that I am the second registered owner. The Caprice was built at the Norcross, Georgia Chevrolet assembly plant and it was sold to its first owner at an Atlanta dealership. It was never my plan to sell this car, but in the process of relocating, I sold my hobby shop warehouse and now I must pay for storage in a storage facility. The numbers matching drivetrain includes a 350 V8 with a 4bl carb and it is mated to a turbo 350 trans. The Caprice comes equipped with power steering, power drum brakes, factory ac (blows cold) and factory AM/FM stereo radio. A factory correct power seat unit from a 1969 Caprice was added. I had the correct Caprice exclusive whitewalls reproduced by Diamondback Radials. The interior was redone in 2018 due to some sun fade using correct NOS fabrics supplied through SMS fabrics located in Oregon. In the spring of 2020, the complete brake system was overhauled and other services were performed ($2,200). While in the shop for that service, the left front fender suffered a minor ding (see picture). The car has had at least one repaint in its original Glacier Blue color prior to my purchase and it is still a very nice driver quality finish. The vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranty. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder (seller will assist with this process). Please email with any questions. The car is located in Palm Coast, Florida which is located just north of Daytona Beach.*This is NO RESERVE listing!
