1968 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon 396 Wagon Grey RWD Automatic Caprice

This wagon has its matching number 396 big block. It’s an automatic with the original 12 bolt rear end. This is the 6 seat model, as shown in the vin. It starts and runs good but if you let it sit too long, you have to prime the carb. I would suggest a carb rebuild. It’s already had an oil change, plugs, wires, rotor, condenser, and distributor cap. The car sat for a long time and the brakes are frozen, so they will need rebuilt before you can drive it. The driver’s window got broken out and will need replaced. The driver fender has some damage and will also need replaced unless you’re a skilled body tech. I have another fender but its the wrong year (maybe you can use some of the trim). You can see the small amounts of rust on the bottom of the quarters. There’s rust on the top rear of the hood and bottom of the fenders. Driver’s floor will need a partial pan near front, rest seems solid. With some work, this could quickly be a cool cruiser.
