HAS SCRATCHES, DINGS, CHIPS, AND ROAD RASH, WHICH ARE THE NORM, ALONG WITH ALOT OF PATINA MARKS, COLOR BLOTCHES, ETC, ALL SHOWING ORIGINAL CHARACTER FOR THE ORIGINALITY OF THE CAR AS UNTOUCHED. (A PROFESSIONAL ORIGINAL LACQUER PAINTER COULD EASILY TOUCH THIS CAR UP AND MAKE IT EVEN BETTER) BUT WE CHOSE TO LEAVE IT "AS IS'' A ORIGINAL UNTOUCHED 1959 IMPALA.

INTERIOR:

THE NICE THING ON THIS CAR IS THE ALL ORIGINAL FACTORY INTERIOR, SEATS, DOOR PANELS, SIDE KICK PANELS, ENTRY WINDLACE, HEADLINER, VISORS, CARPET, (REAR SHELF MAT NEW FELTING), ALL SHOWING WEAR, CARPET- SHOWING THE MOST WEAR AND SOME SUN DIS-COLORATION BIG SPOTS.

THE FRONT AND REAR SEAT SHOULD HAVE NEW INSERTS COVERINGS DONE. THE FRONT SEAT NEEDS NEW FOAM BOTTOM, DRY, REAR SEAT PACKING IS OK. THE TRUNK AREA IS ORIGINAL, FIRST RUN FIBER PRESSED FLOOR MATTING IN VERY GOOD SHAPE, AND IS NOT REPOP RUBBER, AS THE NEW REPOPS ARE ALL RUBBER TODAY, THE MAT CAUSED THE CENTER TRUNK FLOOR MOISTURE DAMAGE WAY BACK, BUT THIS WAS ADDRESSED WITH BLACK COAT SEALER.

MECHANICS:

283 V8 MOTOR WAS REMOVED AND REBUILT AND PAINTED VERY NICE. THE FIREWALL AND ENGINE BAYAREA ARE HIGHLY DETAILED FOR SHOW. MOTOR IS FRESH ONLY 250-300 MILES OR SO SINCE DONE 8 YEARS AGO. ALL THE DRIVETRAIN IS ORIGINAL AND OPERATES AS IT SHOULD. STARTS WITH A PUMP ON THE PEDAL AND FIRES UP QUICK. IDLES NICE, CAR HAS A LOT OF 283 V8 POWER, MOTOR IS SOLID. TRANSMISSION IS THE 3 SPEED MANUAL COLUMN SHIFT. NO ODD NOISES FROM REAR END AND OR INTERNAL MOTOR. SHOCKS ARE ORIGINALS SPIRAL SHOCKS FROM THE FACTORY!

ELECTRICAL:

ALL FUNCTION WITH EASE, LIGHTS INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR. HIGH BEAMS (ALL T-3 ORIGINALS!), BLINKERS ALL OPERATE AS THEY SHOULD., HEATER, FAN, CABLES FOR DEFROST & HEAT AND ALL VENTS ARE ALL SMOOTH AS NEW. GLOVE BOX LOOKS LIKE NEW.

OPERATIONAL OTHERS:

HOOD RELEASE, DOORS, DOOR LOCKS, KEYED ENTRY, GLOVE BOX, TRUNK, WINDOWS, ALL OPERATE NICE AND NO GLITCHES. WINDOW FITTING IS VERY NICE ON ALL WINDOWS

FRONT FENDER MIRRORS WERE INSTALLED BY OWNER AND THE DUAL ANTENNAS. (I HAVE A '59 WONDERBAR RADIO IF WANTED TO PURCHASE AT EXTRA COST)
