Vehicle Details 1957 Corvette Black with Silver Coves and Red Interior. Originally 283-270HP Dual Quad with 3 Speed Transmission. Currently has 1966 327 engine and Muncie 4 speed transmission. Comes with original engine block with correct EG code and rotating parts and heads, all the rest of the original 270 parts including 2x4 carbs, intake, 9 fin valve covers manifolds etc are attached to 327 and running. Also included is original 3 speed transmission & original shifter in excellent condition. Restored over 20 years ago complete body off by older gentleman who owned the car for a very long time.( I believe I may have photos of that process) Has both Hard & Soft tops. Soft top is black and is factory Power Top that was all restored but never had fluid added.Top is 100% complete. It also has Power Windows and they work perfectly. Original Wonderbar radio and it still works. Other options include windshield washers and courtesy lights. Everything is still in very good condition, I believe all gauges and lights etc are working as well but car has spent most of its time in my garage. I haven’t driven it more then 50 miles in the last ten years. Unfortunately there is some issues on the paint and I’ve tried to show them in 2 photos of tops of front fenders. It seems it’s only on the front nose surround panel that some small bubbles have come up. I have been told they are solvent pops, it’s some of the chemicals that are breathing up through the paint. It’s been this way for over ten years. Again the area that is effected is the area around the hood nose area. There are some other small imperfections throughout the car as well after 20 plus years but I think if the surround panel was refinished and blended it could be considered show quality again. All parts on the car are very correct and dated like carburetors radiator dual point distributor etc. If very serious I can send additional pictures of parts etc. I’m putting up for sale because I don’t use it and currently looking to purchase some property. It’s a great car and I never thought I’d let it go. It’s also very nice on the bottom side as well. I welcome anyone who is serious to come and see it in person. Thanks for looking.
