Description of 1987 Chevrolet Corvette

I am forced to relist this Corvette due to the last high bidder falling off the Earth!! Please, if you have no intention of paying, don't place a bid. I believe in the bidding process and I run my auctions clean.
Up for auction is a true barn find!! This car has been off the road since 2014. It is NOT RUNNING!! And will have to be towed by the winning bidder. It did run when it was parked. The owner passed away and the car sat locked away until now. The family asked for some help so sell it. The engine will turn by the crank pulley, but the battery is long dead. I tried a new battery but it still would not crank. The gas tank does smell varnished. That is all the info I can give you. The pics look very good, but the paint, interior and top are in rough shape. I realize I’m being a bit hard with my description, but I do not want to mislead anyone. This car needs a good amount of work. This does have an aluminum head, hydraulic roller 5.7 tuned port engine and a 700r4 trans which could make a great start for someone doing a v8 swap, rat rod, or street rod project. It has a decent set of BBS wheels on it. Also the suspension has been used in a ton of different auto projects. What I’m trying to say is, this car can still provide a ton of options to the right person I will answer any questions I can, but I may need to do so on my lunch break or after 5 in the evening, but I will answer you. Some folks have asked about the frame. Frame is solid with no signs of heavy rust. The front suspension pieces all appear tight. The calipers are all free and the brake pedal is firm and will stop the car. The rear diff turns well and has a good tight posi unit. There are no visible leaks from engine or transmission that I can see as well.
