Vehicle Details This is my customized 1949 3100 Chevy truck that I personally built and restored. I’m the only one who put hand on this one so I know every nut and bolt and do all my own prep and paint and mechanical work. Most of the fasteners are stainless steel now. I have been customizing vehicles for 30 years and always have done all my own work. I’ve owned many through the years and don’t keep them forever. Once completed I Cruz them for a couple years and then start looking for the next project. Right now I have too many in my fleet of vehicles and am just opening up some space for the upcoming winter. This is an all steel truck. The rear fenders were widened 2” to get that FAT rear tire look that I was after. So modifications had to be made to the side steps to accommodate. The bed floor is rough cut oak bords that were stained to have a black widow spider hour glass in them. It was red but the sun bleached the red out unfortunately. Still looking good but looked better b4 IMO. The truck has red aged accents in the tailgate and step boards and red accents in the grill side vent, interior and emblems. The truck is matte black exterior and the interior, paint is 2 years old. No dings or dents or scratches to speak of. bed inside and engine compartment is matte magnetic gray metallic. It’s the original steering wheel which was restored and painted along with all the dashboard components. The stereo is an aftermarket unit and stopped working a year ago, turns on but no sound but there are new speakers in dash. The seat is out of a 2017 Tahoe 3rd row. Fits like a glove and is right at home and comfortable. It folds forward for gas tank access. The fuel tank is new along with sender. I recently put a new speedometer in it because the original was very bounce and loud. I still have original one and it shows 50 some miles. So it rolled over at some point but not in my possession. The truck is super clean with no rust. Im a painter so when I say no rust. I mean it. I can’t tell you how many vehicles I went to look at and it was claimed rust free only to get there and find rust in doors or somewhere on it. So this is one thing I say and stand by. The under carriage is also super clean as I did a frame off on it and everything was blasted and redone. there was no frame rot or anything that of concern when this was done. There are no patches in any of the panels that I ever found or am aware of on it anywhere, and I looked it over GOOD, except for the 2” strips I put in the new rear fenders. This is one of the cleanest vehicles I have ever restored to date of its age. The motor is a 350 Chevy that was rebuilt and a healthy cam was installed. It has roller rockers and new upper parts including valve cover, intake manifold, distributor, and a new fi-tech fuel injection system on it. Runs strong but in my opinion not winning any drag races. Though that’s not what I was after when putting together this drivetrain. It has a new large aluminum radiator with a new electric fan and also a new alternator. It has block hugger header’s that flow into 2.5” flow master mufflers with their rear part of the exhaust being stainless steel. A 100% new steel driveshaft was custo made and installed. It has a new power master mini high torque starter with heat blanket also that is less than 60 miles old. The truck has a hidden master kill switch under seat in center of truck also. The truck has a low stance and is sitting on 22x10 ( 2 crave) deep wheels out back with 20x 9 on front. Tires have less than 3000 miles on them. Pretty much everything on the truck has less than 3000 miles on it because I never drove it since it was completely done. I Have a lot of vehicles to choose from. The truck has 4 wheel power disc brakes with powder coated calipers for rust protection and the front disc are drilled and slotted. The power master cylinder is a low frame mount that sits under he driver foot areas on frame. It cleans up the engine compartment. It has a 100% new suspension on it. Up front is the popular mustang ll upgraded coil over with mustang power rack. QA1 adjustable shocks and tubular upper and lower control arms. All powder coated in matte black and out back is a custom tubular 4 bar suspension with also coil over adjustable shocks. The frame was boxed and a small “C” notch for the Lowered stanc it was set up for. The truck sits in the middle of the height adjustment so it can go up or down but down will definitely scrap on speed bumps and steep drive ways. It is also fitted with a ford 9” rear end with 3.50 gears and a posi. The brake and fuel lines are all replaced and stainless braided lines to the calipers. Fuel pump is electric and new and all AN fittings and lines. Transmission is a 700r4. I put custom teardrop taillights in the fenders and relocated the license plate from the original bracket to clean it up out back. The glass is all new and has a slight tint to it along with all new seals and also a vent window delete conversion for a clean 1 pc side window I love. This truck drives great and has zero problems or issues. All it needs is a new home. Here is a you tube video of the underside and of it running. It was not washed in the video so it is dirty. The pictures are of it washed. And is exactly how it sits and looks now currently. Thanks and good luck with your bidding! https://youtu.be/jrJE91eBPZE?feature=shared
