PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION BEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS This is probably the nicest 55 BelAir 4 dr. sedan anywhere. Frame off restoration over many years by the Texas builder and owner for approx. 28yrs. Car has been in Tucson for about 6yrs. The owner here rebuilt the front suspension recently and added the "Retro" Factory look AM-FM stereo radio. This car has been driven only 2614 miles on the completion of the build.On the exterior the Chev Red & Cream White paint is in great condition. All the Chrome is either new or replated. New Frt. & rear Bumpers / New Grill / New Frt. park lamps / New Headlamp Bezels / New Hood emblem / New Hood Bird / New Rear trunk emblem / New Tail light assemblies / New V8 emblems / New rear Side body moldings. / Door handles / New OS Mirrors . Most of the Stainless trim around the windows have been polished. All the glass is NEW and all the glass rubber gaskets are new.On the inside the Seats / door panels / carpets / Sun visors / Rear package tray and headliner have been made to look factory BelAir and in like new condition. The Dashboard is painted red to match the body as are all the interior trim. The Instrument cluster is a "Auto Meter " Custom replacement . The dash knobs and trim panel are all new. Has a new Electric wiper motor that replaces the old vaccum style wipers. A "I-DID-IT" Chrome TILT steering column has replaced the original . The smaller 15" dia. New reproduction steering wheel replaces the older large 17" dia wheel . B & M QuickSilver floor shifter moves the gears in the 700R4 Automatic transmission. "Vintage Air" brand AC cools (Ice Cold) the interior and works beautifully.Under the hood is an aluminum radiator that looks like the factory original style . The motor is a crate 350 CID SBC with a Holley 4bbl .carb. Edelbrock Aluminum Intake / Block Hugger headers go into a 2 & 1 / 2 in. exhaust with a X pipe and go thru some smooth sounding mufflers out to the rear of the car. / There is a Aux. transmission cooler under pass. side of car.Car has Power Steering / Power Frt. Disc brakes / Front Sway bar / Front end bushing just freshly rebuilt.15" Cragar SS Chrome Wheels with B.F. Goodrich radial tires give that period look.The underside of this car is as clean as the topside. Agai, A Rust free / No corrosion car that runs / sounds / rides and handles excellent.If you have a family or just have friends that like to go with you this beautiful car may just be what you need.
