This project car listed above was involved in an auto accident at least 30 years ago and was a total loss, the frame was bent on the drivers front side. I purchased a 1968 El Camino with Standard Transmission for the donor frame for the frame off re-build for the el camino with the bent frame. I'm estimating that about 67% of restoration has been completed. I have installed new bushing for front end suspension re-build along with parts that came with front end Kit from Original Parts Group. Have rebuilt front brake shoes and turned both brake drums, will need master cylinder and new brake lines, etc. installed. Have installed coil over with shocks for front end suspension. Have removed, cleaned and painted gas tank. Have de-greased and filled with new grease and painted rear axle assembly. Have de-greased and hand spray painted 307 engine and re-built carburetor along with draining and de-greasing/painting automatic transmission. Have installed new engine motor mounts with new hardware bolts and washers for cab to frame mounting. Have installed a new Cowl Grill Panel that will need to be spot welded in place. I will also include a new Hood to Cowl seal along with Washer Jar and filter. All four original hub caps are included as well as the original owners manual. Included is the title to the donor vehicle and also the original title with VIN ID tags for both vehicles. These will be needed in obtaining a salvage title.
