Description of 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

I have for sale my 88 Monte SS. Clean NY title in hand. currently on road. inspected and being used. Mileage may be different by end of auction. This is a cash only situation. NO TRADES PLEASE. I want extra money for home improvements but I am in no way desperate to sell. # 6 3 1-2 4 5-8 8 3 7 please leave a msg. This is a real SS with its original numbers engine. trans and rear. 305 just changed oil and filter (royal purple synthetic) 2004r trans rebuilt a few years ago and just changed fluid and filter. 3:73 posi rear. Have new fluids for service. I have put over $4K into this car in the last 6 months alone. There are 4 brand new tires. new battery. radiator. carburetor. water pump. fuel pump. belts. hoses. plugs. wires. cap. rotor. super coil. MSD digital ignition. Shocks. brakes. u joints. some front end parts. There is also a new rebuilt A/C compressor but needs a belt and to be charged. I also have a new rebuilt steering box but I have not had the time to install it. so it comes with the car. Fiberglass cowl induction bolt on hood. Polished aluminum rims. factory exhaust with old school turbo mufflers (nice low rumble. nothing crazy). Car is satin black but could use a little smoothing out and a "real" paint job. T tops are good. I have the leather bags. small leak on passenger side. I keep the car in a tent. Floors. trunk and lower quarters are all solid. Will need new door weather striping though. The interior is clean and now has power and heated leather seats which are hooked up and has the matching rear seat and console. There is a new carpet and the headliner was done last year. The dash is original with no cracks. All the gauges and heat works. New blower motor. Power windows work (slowly of coarse). wipers work. lights work. Tilt wheel. delayed wipers. I have updated the interior but do still have the original seats and console that go with the car if wanted. Please look at pictures carefully this car is a "driver" and in no means a "show car". This car is mechanically sound. starts right up and can be driven anywhere without problems. Now that weather is getting nicer I will go back to using as a daily driver again.
