Description of 1984 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 |
|
This is your chance to own a powerful square body Chevy with tons of professionally installed extras with receipts. 3” body lift, 6” suspension lift, oversized 38.5” Interco TrXus MT tires, 510 HP, 513 lb-Ft torque. Holly Sniper EFI. This is a guaranteed head-turner and the sound, stance and style are undeniable. Clean Indiana title in hand. Extensive work performed by reputable Indianapolis performance shop from late 2020 through 2021 (receipts totaling $27k) and recently in September 2024 (over $14k). Approximately 350 miles on truck substantial rebuild. Over $65k invested for the 16 years I’ve owned it. Located in Mooresville, IN. Videos: https://youtu.be/VY9yj0pSrrg – Engine and dual fans running https://youtu.be/tKhWDHqr2mw - Walkaround with engine running https://youtu.be/BBHoVkHphZk - Driving at highway speed New windshield installed July, 2025. ALL NEW items professionally installed 2021-2023: - 396ci Blueprint stroker engine (100% new all components, connectors, belts, hoses, plugs, sensors, fluids, Edelbrock intake, gaskets, etc.) - Sniper EFI system (direct to driver’s side saddle tank) - Champion racing aluminum radiator - Derale Performance high output dual fan assembly - Autometer gauges with custom molded dashboard overlay - Customized front and rear driveshafts (front not installed but will be included with sale), including HD U-joints - Wiring harness - Painted inner fenders, fire wall (matte black) - Exhaust system with performance ceramic headers and turn downs - Driver side fuel tank, sending unit, wiring - ORD crossover/High steer system, including heavy duty steering gear box, sway bar, bushings, and dual shock steering stabilizers - Reid Racing flat top steering knuckles and bushings - Dual front shock relocation brackets, rear quad shock mounts - Total of 14 Skyjacker Nitro shocks - High performance cab mounts and new mounting hardware with 3” body lift - Complete rear differential and front differential rebuild - Washer pump kit, high beams, turn signals, marker lights, speedometer cable, battery, battery tray The following upgrades were completed in late 2018 and early 2019 (can’t find receipts, but work is visually verifiable) - Painted matte black over an industrial bedliner material. The bedliner can be removed using common items found at your local home improvement store. That's what I liked about it...it's not permanent but provides serious protection. The body underneath is solid with no rust present at the time of painting. There’s a small Bondo patch on the inside of the rear fender performed by the previous owner (see picture with blue “X”). The area is solid to the touch and there’s no sign of rust or weakness around that area. - Installed chrome accents, side lights, front pull bar and lights. - The frame was reinforced with heavy steel in key areas to prevent frame flex. - Front and rear axles were professionally installed from a 1977 3/4T (K20) dump truck, including new brakes, fluids, bearings, bolts, covers, gaskets, and angle shims for proper driveline angle. (Seals, gaskets and fluids were again replaced in September 2024.) The rear axle is a Corporate free-floating 14 bold with OEM 3.73 gears and locker. The front axle was upgraded to 4.88 gearing. The goal was to upgrade the rear gear to 4.88; however, I do not use the 4x4 and the 3:73 gearing is perfect for my weekend driving. The powerplant launches this truck from a dead stop with no problem. I have discounted the asking price by $1k to include the rear ring and pinion changeover (about $500 on Summit). - Warn Premium 4x4 locking hubs - 16x12 M/T rims and Interco TrXus MT Radials (38.5x14.5R16). Professionally balanced using Semi truck balancing beads from local heavy truck repair shop. Approximately 400 miles on tires and rims. Sad to see it go, especially for less than half the cost of what I have into it. I need to make room for another project next year. Happy to answer any questions. |
