I am listing this as a NO RESERVE auction to ensure a sale! High bid will own it! This is a one family owned local waukon farm truckhere in Iowa. The farm still exist today. The father. who was the original owner of the truck. got older and has moved into a nursing home. The kids did not want to keep the truck and contacted me to buy it knowing I collect old trucks. It has been sitting in his garage since 1993 at his farm until I bought it 2 years ago. I did a complete tune up including points. plugs. condensor. coil. fuel pump. etc. on this 235 6 cyl engine. I rebuilt the carborator and rebuilt the brake master cylinder. I replaced the rear brake cylinders and new brake lines. The truck stops great. (the fronts still should be done) I put a new exhasut on and changed the coil to 12 volt and bypassed the original cloth wire harness. (it should be replaced due to age. complete harness is $205 jim carter trucks) I put a 12 volt battery in and she fired right up and ran great with no knocks misses or smoke. I am running the truck off a aux tank. original is still there but should be cleaned or replaced ($150 jim carter trucks) The floors look solid and I left the truck in original paint to keep the cool petina and to show any of the minor cosmetic rust/surface rust. In my opinion. this truck would look awsome clear coated and left with the petina it has. I looked in the glove box and even found the original owners manual! I replaced the tailgate with a new one as pictured as the old one was missing when I found the truck. The original wood is in the box but is old. There is a piece of plywood on top of it. The tires should be replaced due to age but all do hold air. The truck drives like a dream and as the video shows. we had it up to around 50 mph. the truck drove like it should and stopped the way it should. The truck did not overheat. This has a matching numbers up to date title that matches the vin tag ready for you to register. The seat is there but should be recovered and has a seat cover on it right now. The glass is there as pictured but there was some cracks here and there. the windows go up and down the way they should. This is a truck you can drive and have a blast with while taking it to the next level or you can leave it the way it is with some minor tinkering and keep the original petina!I do not want to overcall this truck or undercall it as it is 61 years old. let the pictures and video tell the story. I invite you to come and drive/inspect the truck or have ebay do a inspection for you before placing a bid. I require a 500 dollar deposit within 24 hours of auction end. If I do not receive the deposit before you come for the truck or within the time frame I willa ssume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it.
