Heat. Vinyl Interior. Front Disc Brakes. Power Brakes. Power Steering. Seatbelts SELLER REMARKS There are a few big bonuses that come with this 1973 Camaro Z/28. One. it's a real-deal Z/28. which was perhaps the hottest car on the road in 1973. Two. it's got a fresh drivetrain that was built to party. And three. it's insanely affordable. OK. it's not a show car. but you already knew that by looking at the price. The paint job was done a while ago and looks good going down the road. but it's not going to stand up to the rigors of show car judging. so just go ahead and have some fun instead. Bright red is never the wrong choice on an F-body and with black Z/28 stripes running along the bodywork. well. it's definitely got the right look. All the proper Z/28 styling cues are there. including the ducktail spoiler and emblems. You could probably give it a buff to wake it up a bit. and only a few minor issues are visible. so a little TLC will go a long way. Door fit is good. the hood sits flush. and even the three-piece spoiler out back fits well. which is sometimes hard to do. Bright chrome bumpers look great against the red bodywork and you'll note that nobody tried to convert this to an RS model with the open grille. a questionable upgrade that never looks quite right anyway. When you look inside. you'll see why this car is so affordable. and we won't beat around the bush: this car needs a new set of seat covers. Fortunately. they're readily available and quite inexpensive. so with a weekend of time you could have that detail fixed and add a lot of value to the car's bottom line. The dash is in good shape and might be a newer replacement and you won't have to worry about the back seat. which still looks great. The door panels are probably original and have speakers cut into the doors. so put them to work. and the carpets are still pretty good. too. It's got the wrap-around dash with a surprisingly nice woodgrained applique and all the gauges show clear markings and lenses. with a set of auxiliary gauges under the dash. As I mentioned with the speakers. there's no radio so it's ready for any upgrade you can imagine and they've installed a big set of 6x9s on the rear deck. so it should sound great when you're done. A B&M shifter manages the shifts. and the mechanicals are something that you should take a closer look at in this car. Those mechanicals include a built 350 cubic inch V8 with less than 3500 miles on it. An Edelbrock intake with Holley 4-barrel carburetor. Headman headers. and a big cam give it plenty of performance and it's still quite fresh. A few chrome pieces and bright Chevy Orange paint make the engine bay look special and it runs superbly. It's linked to a bulletproof TH400 3-speed automatic with a B&M shift kit inside and a 3000 RPM stall torque converter. which works with the 4. 10 gears in the rebuilt 10-bolt to make this car a rocket off the line. There's a brand new dual exhaust system with X-pipe and the chassis shows off a lifetime in a warm climate so I wouldn't bother with a full restoration. It's got the right stance. especially with those big 18-inch Boss Motorsports wheels and Continental radials. The Camaro has always represented affordable fun. and this one delivers. Add in a little time and effort and you'll have an A-list muscle car that you can really be proud of.
