Description of 1966 Chevrolet C-10

1966 Chevrolet C-10. pro-touring at its best. High dollar frame off restoration that was designed for driving. The drivetrain was replaced with an LS1 and 6 speed transmission. The power is transferred to a newly rebuilt Ford posi-rearend with 373 gears. The front suspension was replaced with a No Limits independent front suspension with coilover shocks. tubular upper and lower control arms and disc brakes. A Ron Francis wiring system replaces the factory wiring harness. The entire frame was powder coated the gas tank moved under the bed. The truck has an old school stance achieved through drop spindles and lowering springs along with big and little powder coated white wheels with dog dish hubcaps. The body is laser straight with the fit and finish exceptional. The color is an Aston Martin factory color. The door handles were shaved. the rear bumper replaced with a rollpan and the antenna is now frenched and power operated. The gas filler door was moved to the bedside. The tailgate was smoothed and painted letters were the bed was replaced with a rich walnut and painted stainless steel strips. The sidewalls of the bed are sprayed with bed liner. The bed is covered with a locking Gaylord bedcover that is painted to match and water tight. The interior was completely revamped for comfort and style. The dash was smoothed with a set of Classic Instrument gauges added. A vintage air and heat system was installed along with a Pioneer audio system with Bluetooth and navigation along with Sirius radio. The column tilts and it has cruise control. The seat was replaced a 2005 GM truck with integrated seatbelts and adjustable lumbar support. The entire interior is covered in a rich tobacco tan including the seat. door panels. headliner and visors. The fuse box is enclosed in a custom enclosure behind the seat. The windows controls are now power. The truck was designed for driving and has been on multiple long distance road trips including the Hot Rod Power Tour. The only blemish on the truck is small scratch on the rear passenger bedside near the taillight. It has been touched up and a photo is shown.
