Up for consideration is my 69 Z28 that has had only one repaint prior to 1978 (there is a sticker above the rally sport back up light that is dated 1978) see attached photo. It still retains the original stripes on the car. They were taped up when the car was sprayed and was never painted themselves. There is a tape edge you can see where it was done. It is a non spoiler and flat hood car from the factory. It had a spoiler when I got it that I removed and you can see where the Camaro emblem was originally mounted. The only rust in the car is some in the trunk due to tail lights leaking and driver side floor. Does not appear to have ever been wrecked ( has all original body panels ). This is the most solid car of any kind I have ever owned! It is a Los Angeles built car. Seems to have spent most of its life in California. Does not have original engine or trans. It does have a DZ engine dated 02/20 and the car has a January 4th week build. It has a 1973 M21 4 speed and the original 12 bolt rearend with a 3:73 Gear (BU code) . It has deluxe interior. (deluxe belts in excellent condition) and rose wood dash. Still retains the original tach and gauges. The tach is the correct 7 grand and 6 grand redline. There is a very partial chassis broadcast sheet that I was able to half way put together. Has all the Z28 equipment such as the exhaust hanger on left side. single fuel line. correct pitman arm and brake booster #9204. This appears to have been a 80s Street Machine that has a lot of original parts that have been chromed. It has 292 angle plug heads and roller rockers with a stud girdle that has Crane Cams that has a date of 10 87 (October of 1987). I have forgot a lot of things I am sure. I will update if needed later.
