Here I have a 1961 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe ( Bubble top ) shell for sale. Car was built in Atlanta GA This Shell is build-able but not for the novice sheet metal man. Car is covered in SURFACE rust but the roof. tail section. upper quarters and around trunk/windows are solid. Has new poly red body bushings. The frame is a Canadian frame. which means it's fully boxed in the rear. As you can see in the pictures. I've already started to replace some of the needed sheet metal ( driver side rocker assembly ). . Both left and right side rockers are new full length OEM aftermarket and come w/ the shell. The front portion of the OG rocker that usually rusts out were dissembled. sandblasted. primed and re-attached to the OEM aftermarket rocker like factory. The shell will need complete lower quarters on both sides. center trunk pan ( TUB ). driver side trunk body mount. inner rockers. floor braces. front floor pans and a small section of the c-pillar patch. I have the c-pillar patch and driver side trunk body mount I will include in the sale as well as the rocker assembles . The frame that it sits on is out from under a Belair 4-door and not original to the Shell. but it is in excellent shape and fully boxed ( Canadian ). The VIN was removed from the shell my self in plans on having the shell dipped ( electrolysis ) or media blasted. The car is located GA and is sold with a bill of sale ONLY. I don't have the title. I bought it from Alabama on a bill of sale and that's all we need in our two states to register. SO IF THIS IS A MAJOR CONCERN TO YOU AND THE DMV REGISTRATION LAWS IN YOUR STATE.
