Description of 1968 Chevrolet Camaro |
Matching Number # 1968 Camaro V8 327 - 3 Speed StickI am selling my engine and body matching # '68 camaro. The odometer reads just over 73k miles. I assume they are original miles because of the condition of the engine. As you can see from the pictures of the engine. I have not cleaned the engine at all. I purchased this car that was in the process of a 'ground up' restoration. I put the parts back on it. put in an HMI distributor. and it started right up and runs great. It is a 3 speed on the floor with factory air conditioning. A/C is not all put together so it is not hooked up. This car is a great project for someone with a little time. It runs. drives and shifts fine. Brakes work fine. but pulls when stepped on hard (probably easy fix). This car was originally a light green. but I didn't like the color and had it painted white. Paint is good and body is not perfect. but very presentable. As seen in the pics. . it has uncovered front seats. and will need a new interior. Two rear exhaust pipes. passenger side blows a little smoke. maybe just valve seals. but it's not that bad. I think it has a rear main seal leak and the dipstick is missing. I have many other parts that I took off to paint that I will include. There are some bolts. etc that need to be secured for more permanence. I put it back together so I could drive it around the neighborhood once a week to get it ready to get back on the road. Headlights and tail lights work. but blinker arm is floppy and not triggering blinkers and brake lights are not triggering. Little things. but all very easily fixable. I would really like to keep this car. but circumstances dictate I let her go before I can finish it up. Clean Texas title in my name. I reserve the right to sell it locally. So feel free to make me an offer. If you have any questions. please feel free to let me know. Thanks. A quick VIDEO CLIP of the car:http://youtu. be/-BXGsiT4zsc |
