Description of 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

Up for sale is a 1980 Camaro Z28 in Red Orange (only made 3. 1% of the 80 Z28's in this color) with Tan interior. 73. 97 original miles on this Camaro. and far less on the LT1 engine. This car is a seriously fun and very affordable machine. LT1 350 small block bored . 30 over. balanced. blueprinted. complete with a steel crank. cam. valve train. and aluminum Brodix heads to top it off. I have documentation for the engine. work. and components. MSD 7AL-2 ignition. Turbo 350 transmission with heavy duty clutches and a stall converter connected to a 10 bolt 4:11 posi rear end. This Camaro is complete. runs strong as a bull. shifts. and drives very very well. and the cowl vent even works!!! It doesn't have original paint. but it is in original color. and has been tastefully modified as necessary. Frame connectors have been neatly welded in place. the car has traction bars. and the engine bay was painted body color when the car was redone years ago. There are only a few very minor spots of deterioration that I have found on this car. Otherwise. there are no major blemishes with the paint or body. One thing missing is the HVAC system. It does not have heat or A/C. I have two sets of tires and rims for the car. One set is a clean set of classic Keystones with wide Micky Thompsons on the rear and the other set are gray Camaro rally wheels with new tires on all 4 pictured on the car. There will be a few minor things I will fix before the new owner takes the car home also. I need to replace the rear brake line. and one of the fuel lines from the fuel pump. Neither of these issues prevent the car from being driven. On top of that. I will go through the car to check everything else over as the car has been un-registered since 2012. The late 2nd generation Camaros are starting to become very desirable and prices are on the rise. This car is not a show car and nor do I make it sound that way. but it is a great example of a real Z28 in nice condition inside. outside. and mechanically. This car is priced very fairly.
