Description of 1984 Chevrolet El Camino SS

ERROR: WHEN THIS CAR WAS FIRST LISTED. IT WAS LISTED AS A SUPER SPORT. BUT IT'S NOT A SUPER SPORT ElCamino/Caballero has original motor. but tranny was replaced a couple of years ago with a 700 R4 trans that has about 90. 00 when he bought tranny according to what my grandfather told me before he passed away. My grandfather also had a rebuilt kit put into tranny. If you shift floor shifter to first gear by hand. you have to hold in first gear or else it will jump to second gear by itself. Good brakes. good rubber. One of the wheels has a center cap missing. Back top edge of tail gate has a little dent on crome. nothing major. Carburator was also rebuilt a few years ago. The car has a few minor issues. Heat and air works. but comes out from defrost and floor ok. but sometimes it doesn't come out vents. Might be a vacume line. not sure. Speaker covers on dashboard are missing. The bucket seats aren't original. my grandfather replaced them. because old seat got to worn out. The key to door turns a little stiff in both doors. Also. needs a little rust work on bottom of window in back. On inside of driver widow by lock part. weather trim. it is not completely attached. Needs a little rust work done on bottom edge of both doors on inside. drivers door has a spot of rust on outside. Also. have original top that locks down on back. "THIS IS A FLORIDA CAR". JUST MOVED TO MICHIGAN FROM FLORIDA A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO. THIS WAS MY GRANDFATHERS CAR. BUT HE RECENTLY PASSED AWAY APRIL 6 OF THIS YEAR. THAT'S THE REASON WHY I'M SELLING THIS CAR.
