I purchased this Chevelle from the South Carolina owner since 1998. The car was a South Carolina car prior to that as well. The car was off the frame restored originally in 1998. The engine has 11. 00 miles since the original restore. however the driveline including the transmission. axle. and the rear end gear were upgraded last year with less than 300 miles since then. The car has always been garage kept since the original restore in 1998. The paint is the original color code 11 Antique White. The car has been painted for 17 years however it looks like it could have been painted last year. It is slick and with a nice smooth finish and shine. The chrome and bright work are in excellent condition also. The wheels are the original gray 15x7 sport wheels with BF Goodrich Radial TA’s. The fronts are 215/70R15 and the rears are 245/60/R15. The doors shut with that nice solid thump and all of the gaps and body lines on the car are good. The car has a nice stance. The engine is the original numbers matching block. The motor was professionally rebuilt in 1998 by Steve Force a GM ASE Certified. Master Technician. who at the time actually owned the car. The camshaft is a Comp Cams Hydraulic Flat Tappet with cam card. It has Magnum Roller Rocker Arms. and all performance internals. It has an Edelbrock aluminum Air Gap intake with a Holley 750cc manual secondary carburetor and long tube headers. (it also comes with the original cast iron intake manifold with carburetor and the original exhaust manifolds)…It has a MSD ignition and 6AL box. The fuel pump is an Aeromotive A1000 high hp. The battery has been re-located to the trunk with a master cutoff switch. The transmission is a new TCI TH400 Super Street Fighter with a 3000 RPM stall torque convertor. It also has a new aluminum Rye Valley drive shaft. It has the original to car rear axle assembly but with new Richmond 373 gear positive traction and Superior Axles with ½” studs and C-Clip eliminator bearings. I also have pictures below of the bottom of the car. The frame is connected with Competition Engineering Chassis frame connectors. The front end is stock with the exception of new Fat Man Fab 2” drop spindles. The rear end has manual air bags for ride height and comfort. The exhaust are x-pipes with 17” Flowmasters. The interior is mostly original. It does have brand new carpet with sound/heat underlay. It also has under dash mounted gauges and a Hurst roll control toggle & light on the console. The stereo system is aftermarket and it has Vintage heat system but not AC. however it was a factory AC car.
