Description of 1983 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500

Up for auction is a beautiful 1983 K10 Chevy 8' bed with many new and upgraded parts. The wife says that I have too many projects and this one just got bumped. actually I traded a Jeep to get this for my son for his first truck and spent the past year completely rebuilding this for him so I could be sure he would be safe. He really wanted a short bed and we recently found one and started a full frame off for him on that one and I am running out of project budget dollars and my sons new truck trumps this one on the priority list of happy wife happy life!I have replaced everything in the truck except for the a/c and a quick trip through the body shop and this truck is right up there with the other $25. 00-$30. 00 trucks. I have all the original a/c stuff but could not see putting it back in the truck with everything else new. (this is a factory a/c truck and all the plumbing is there) the parts new from Autozone come to under $500. 00 with freon. The truck is a 1983 cab with a 1987 front clip with custom billet grille. there is a dent in the passenger door that are minor and easily repaired. The driver door and fender were out of alignment and did some damage on the paint there. and the hood is brand new and in the black primer cote which will need to be painted in. The cab corners have visible surface bumps and will need cleaning up before they become a problem. all in all I had a local reputable paint and body shop look at the truck and quote me $1500 to completely freshen up everything and have it straight as an arrow. And honestly if you are going show truck then you will want to change the rear bumper. There is all the dirt on this truck right up front!Now that we have that out of the way let me just list for you as much as I can remember that has been replaced and improved on this truck. Oil. emp. mp sending units are all newCompletely overhauled 700R4 Auto tranny with upgraded clutches and pump208 transfer case all freshnew N3R slip yoke with Spicer UJ balanced shaft with 1350 diff yoke w Spicer UJFront Shaft is 1350 CV to 1350 front diff yokeFront diff is all new and all Dana/Spicer bearings. seals. carrier. 4. 56 ratio ring and pinion. mile marker hubsbrakes. rotors. calipers and hosesRear diff is all new as well with a nice posi trac diff basket with 4. 56 ring and pinion from Dana/Spicerall new bearings and seals and axle bearings and seals. Drums. shoes. wheel cylinders. hose and hardware. brand new ProComp 20" rims with 37" Toyo M/T's w/30% treadnew power steering gear box and hoses8" Super Lift Soft ride leaf spring suspension lift with all new bushings and uboltsshocks and steering stabilizer all Super Liftbrand new windsheild rubber gasket with chrome trim. and bothe door glass strip rubber/feltsThrush version of the flow master (sounds nice and mellow with the cam) dual exhaust with long tube headersthe interior has a newly recovered bench seat which I had done in a 4" pleat all black. new carpet kit. great dash. ioneer stereo with new speakers in the dashlots of new little pieces and trim are on the truck and every light on the exterior is brand new. new tint and the bed is Rustoleum (like Rhinoliner) bed liner that overlaps the bed rail and has stone guard on the lower panel. The truck has 2 miles on it since completing it recently.
