Description of 1965 Chevrolet C-10 |
Up for sale is this sweet little '65 we call "Black Betty. " We spent a total of 2 years building her from the ground up. "Betty" is powered by a 350/350Th combo (floor shift) that the previous owner had built and packs plenty of power. Especially with the new 750cfm Edelbrock. We have added a complete new disc brake system. suspension components. front end. complete rewire front to back. custom 22" wheels. custom dash insert and gauges. paint (hot rod black) and body. "old oak" wood bed. aluminum wheel tubs. carpet. door seals and felts. arm rest. custom mirrors. new bumper and light bezels. engine dress up. Edelbrock 750 cfm and much more I'm forgetting. Less than 30miles since finished. The motor was claimed to be 383 stroker by previous owner. however. since I cannot personally verify this. I'm selling as a "warmed up" 350. Maintains great oil pressure and runs 190 degrees consistently. They had also shortened the frame and bed; very nicely done. With the new seals and bushings I can't hear a rattle even on my dirt road. "Betty" has a 3:73 geared posi-track rear end with this wheel and tire combo it grips the road very well. She's a great little rod. loud and proud. not perfect. but one sweet truck. Tag and title up to date and ready to go. Also comes with an extra set of "lower" springs for the front. Feel free to ask questions. will work with shippers and hold up to 6 weeks after paid. if needed. "Betty" is being sold "as is". "where is" and no warranty/guarantee is expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction end via paypal or Credit Card by phone. Remainder is due within 5 business days via Certified Bank Check or cash only to be sent by priority mail and must clear before pick up. Happy Bidding and Thanks!Ben |
