Description of 1967 Chevrolet C-10 |
This is a 1967 true short bed rare small window for this body style. This year was the last year with the small window and also the last and only year in this body style that has no marker lamps on the fenders and bed which gives it the smooth look. I know in prior years a big window would mean the truck was more collectible but since this was the last year and not many were made with this small window. that makes this a rare piece. This is originally a straight 6 truck but it has a recently rebuilt. very strong 350 V8 with an auto transmission. Doesn't leak one drop. Drove it the other day 1. 5 hours in stop and go traffic and not one complaint. didn't overheat at all. Brand new Edelbrock carburator. This thing turns on in a heartbeat even after sitting for days. It has a factory tilt steering column. It is a Clean title truck built in Fremont and is currently registered here in California and does go on the road every once in a while. Has disc brakes in the front. Very strong and loud headers and muffler system that ends under the cab. Lowered with spindles and springs but not cut. The frame is complete and very solid. I believe the owner was going to bag it because it has a brand new air tank under the bed but never got to it. Rear wheel wells where widened to make room for bigger wheels. It does have some rust in the drip rails and rockers but I will include the new sheet metal for both side rockers and the part of the floor that immediately connects with the rockers and also the driver side cab corner. The drip rails were supposed to be removed to make the cab smooth. Wheels are 15x7 and 15x8 Boyds. Please ask questions |
