Description of 1968 Chevrolet C-10 GMC |
Up for sale is what you get after a 15 year passionate battle with perfection. "Low Sugar" (Owner is a Type 1 Diabetic) is an amazing GMC has been altered to the machine you see here. The small block just didn't have the sound a modern hot rod should so a late model 454 was swapped in by the owner who has been an ASE certified tech and shop owner for 20 years. In fact. the last must have was the 700R4 and 9" rear (31 spline Mark Williams) which was just installed less than 100 miles ago! For any bagged ride. a must have is the Accuair E Level system that has sensors that will automatically level to the settings. I've had several air ride trucks and this is by far the best system on the market. To keep the stance and look a full set of 20" Coys were added. (20X7 front 20X8 out back) The wheels complimented the full Porterbuilt Tubular suspension that was just installed last year. This truck is done right and demands respect. Easily cruises well above freeway speeds at super low RPMs. As you get a bit closer you can see details like the custom raised bed with laser engraving that looks amazing. The paint job is showing a bit of age. a few bubbles on the door) as it was done over 10 years ago. I was thinking a patina or repaint in the near future. It still looks great and is very straight but worth the mention. |
